Getting There

• Walking

  From the central area of Zuunmod, head east towards the main road (Zuunmod's Central Street). Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with the main highway (Ulaanbaatar - Zuunmod Road). Cross the road carefully and turn left onto the highway. Walk along the highway for approximately 1.5 kilometers, keeping an eye out for any local landmarks such as small shops or restaurants. You should see signs indicating the way to Ulaanbaatar as you walk. After 1.5 kilometers, look for a small path on the right leading towards the statue area, which will guide you to Өвөө Эмээгийн Баримал, located in a park-like setting.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  Begin at the main bus station in Zuunmod, which is located near the town center. Look for buses heading towards Ulaanbaatar. Board any bus that displays 'Ulaanbaatar' as its destination. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. After arriving in Ulaanbaatar, ask the bus driver to drop you off at the closest stop to the CHD - 5 khoroo area, where the Өвөө Эмээгийн Баримал is located. From there, you can either walk (approximately 10 minutes) or ask locals for the nearest path to the statue.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, start by heading towards the main road from the center of Zuunmod. Once on the main road, cycle east towards the Ulaanbaatar - Zuunmod highway. Continue cycling straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection leading into Ulaanbaatar. Look for a pathway on your right after this distance; this will lead you directly to the park area surrounding Өвөө Эмээгийн Баримал. The ride should take approximately 10-15 minutes.
