If you are driving from Billings, MT, take I-90 E for about 120 miles. Exit onto US-212 E towards Cody, WY. Continue on US-212 E, which is a scenic route through the Beartooth Pass. Follow this road for about 70 miles until you reach Cooke City. Once in town, turn left onto Main St, and the Cooke City Montana Museum will be on your right at 206 Main St. Be aware that the Beartooth Pass is often closed in winter, so check road conditions before traveling.
