  • Walking

    If you are near the Old Faithful area, start by heading northwest on Grand Loop Road. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with the Firehole River Drive. Turn left onto Firehole River Drive and follow it until you reach the junction with the road leading to the West Thumb area. At this junction, you will see signs pointing towards the Yellowstone National Park Sign. Continue walking in the direction of those signs, which will lead you directly to the sign.

    From the Mammoth Hot Springs area, take the bike path that leads south along the road towards Norris Geyser Basin. Continue biking south until you reach the junction with the Grand Loop Road. At this junction, turn right and bike along the Grand Loop Road past various attractions. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards the Yellowstone National Park Sign, which will be located on the side of the road. Follow those signs until you arrive at the sign itself.
