If you are in downtown Whitefish, head to the Whitefish Depot located at 501 Central Ave. From there, take the Flathead County Public Transit bus towards West Glacier. Make sure to check the schedule for the bus times. The bus will take you directly to West Glacier. Once you arrive at the West Glacier stop, walk towards Going-to-the-Sun Rd. Glacier Raft Company is located at 106 Going-to-the-Sun Rd, just a short walk down the road.

Bicycle Rental
For a more adventurous route, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local shops in Whitefish. Once you have your bike, head west on Central Ave until you reach Wisconsin Ave. Turn left onto Wisconsin Ave, which will take you toward the Whitefish River. Follow the bike path along the river until you reach the junction with US-2. Continue on US-2 until you reach the turn-off for Going-to-the-Sun Rd. Follow the road until you arrive at Glacier Raft Company at 106 Going-to-the-Sun Rd. This route is approximately 20 miles and offers beautiful scenic views.

If you're up for a long walk, start at the Whitefish City Park located at 200 Park Dr. From the park, head southeast on Park Dr until you reach Central Ave. Turn left on Central Ave and continue walking west until you reach the intersection with US-93. Cross over to US-93 and continue heading towards West Glacier. As you approach West Glacier, you will see signs for Going-to-the-Sun Rd. Follow the road until you arrive at Glacier Raft Company at 106 Going-to-the-Sun Rd. Be prepared for a lengthy trek, as this walk is approximately 22 miles.
