If you are starting from the West Thumb Geyser Basin, head north on the Grand Loop Road for approximately 6 miles. Look for signs directing you towards Yellowstone Lake. Once you reach the lake, you will see a parking area near the shore. From here, you will need to walk approximately 0.5 miles along the lakeshore trail to reach the wreck of the E.C. Waters. Please note that this trail can be uneven and may require sturdy shoes.
