Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the Kotor Old Town. Head east on Njegoševa Street towards the main road (E65). At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the E65. Continue on this road for about 1.5 km. Watch for signs for the Fort of St. Ivan (San Giovanni). Turn left onto the road leading to the Fort. Follow this road until you reach the parking area. From there, it is a short hike up to the Observation Post, which offers stunning views of the bay.

Public Transportation
To reach the Observation Post using public transport, first, take a bus from Kotor Bus Station to the nearby town of Perast. The bus ride takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Perast, you will need to take a taxi to the base of the road leading to the Fort of St. Ivan. Taxis are readily available near the bus stop, and the fare should be around 10-15 Euros. After reaching the base of the road, you will need to walk uphill for approximately 20-30 minutes to reach the Observation Post. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path can be steep.

Walking
If you are already in Kotor and prefer to walk, you can start from the Old Town. Walk towards the main road (E65) and follow the signs for the Fort of St. Ivan. The path is well-marked, and it takes approximately 1 hour to hike from the Old Town to the Observation Post. Be prepared for a steep ascent and bring plenty of water. The views along the way are breathtaking and worth the effort.
