Getting There

    If you are in the Old Town of Herceg Novi, start at the main square, Trg Nikole Đurkovića. From there, head towards the waterfront along the main street, Njegoševa. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the end of the promenade where you'll see a small harbor. From here, take a local ferry to Dubrovnik. The ferry ride takes around 1 hour and offers beautiful views of the coastline.

    After arriving at the port in Dubrovnik, exit the ferry terminal and walk straight ahead towards the Old Town entrance, called Pile Gate. Once you enter, continue walking straight along the main street, Stradun. After about 5 minutes, turn left onto Ul. Ispod Minčete. Continue for a short distance, and you'll find Tvrđava Minčeta on your right.

  • Bus

    If you prefer to take a bus, from Herceg Novi, go to the local bus station located near the Old Town. Catch a bus heading towards Dubrovnik, which runs frequently throughout the day. The bus journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Dubrovnik bus station, take bus number 1 or 1A to Pile Gate, which is the entrance to the Old Town. From Pile Gate, follow the same walking directions as mentioned before to reach Tvrđava Minčeta.
