From the Old Town of Kotor, head towards the main square, Trg od Oružja. Walk out of the Old Town through the North Gate (also known as the Sea Gate). Once outside, turn left and continue along the waterfront promenade. You will see signs directing you to the Ladder of Kotor. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the staircase that leads up into the hills.

If you are starting from the Kotor Bus Station, exit the station and head towards the main road (M-1). Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the Old Town entrance (North Gate). Once at the North Gate, follow the previous directions to continue towards the Ladder of Kotor.
