Bus
If you are at the Norfolk Transit Center, take the Route 24 bus towards 'Norfolk Botanical Garden'. The bus departs every 30 minutes. Ride the bus for approximately 20 minutes and get off at the 'Azalea Garden Rd' stop. Once you exit the bus, walk about 0.2 miles south along Azalea Garden Rd, and you will arrive at the Norfolk Botanical Garden entrance.
Bicycle
If you have a bicycle, you can ride from downtown Norfolk. Start on Granby St heading north, then turn left onto E Brambleton Ave. Continue onto N Military Hwy and follow the bike lanes for about 3 miles. Turn right onto Azalea Garden Rd, and the Norfolk Botanical Garden will be on your left after about a mile. Ensure to follow local bike rules and stay safe on the road.
Walking
If you're close to downtown Norfolk, you can walk to the Norfolk Botanical Garden. Head north on Granby St. Continue until you reach E Brambleton Ave. Turn left and follow E Brambleton Ave for about 1.5 miles until you reach N Military Hwy. Turn right on N Military Hwy and walk for about 0.5 miles. Finally, turn left onto Azalea Garden Rd, and the garden entrance will be on your left after about 0.3 miles.
Taxi or Rideshare
You can use a taxi or rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. Simply enter 'Norfolk Botanical Garden, 6700 Azalea Garden Rd, Norfolk, VA' as your destination. Depending on your location in Norfolk, the drive should take around 15-20 minutes, but be sure to check for traffic conditions.
