If you're in downtown Norfolk, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the HRT bus route 15, which goes towards Granby St. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes. Get off at the stop near the intersection of Granby St and 36th St. From there, walk south on Granby St for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Virginia Zoo at 3500 Granby St.
