Getting There

Walking
From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, head south towards the main road (Bhaktapur - Kathmandu Road). After approximately 200 meters, turn left onto the road leading to Suryabinayak. Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Suryabinayak. Here, you can catch a local bus or microbus to Kathmandu. Make sure to board one heading towards Kathmandu, and inform the driver that you are going to Thamel. The journey will take about 30 minutes.

Public Bus
From Bhaktapur, walk to the bus park located just outside of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Look for a bus heading to Kathmandu (they are frequent). Upon reaching Kathmandu, get off at the Ratna Park bus stop. From Ratna Park, you can walk towards Thamel, which is about a 15-minute walk. Head northwest on the main road (Tridevi Marg) until you reach Amrit Marg where Nepal Highpoint Trekking is located.

If you prefer not to walk or use public transport, you can hire a local taxi or rickshaw from anywhere in Bhaktapur. Simply tell the driver to take you to Thamel, specifically to Amrit Marg. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure that you confirm the price before starting your journey.
