To reach Dugahiti from any point in the Helambu Trek, first make your way to the nearest major town, which is Melamchi. From Melamchi, hire a private car or taxi to Shankharapur. The drive will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on road conditions. The destination address is PFH7+RG3, Shankharapur 44600. Inform the driver that you want to visit Dugahiti, which is a historical site in the area.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From Melamchi, you can also take a local bus to Shankharapur. Buses leave regularly from Melamchi's bus station and the fare is around NPR 200-300. The journey will take roughly 2 hours. Once you arrive at Shankharapur, ask locals for directions to PFH7+RG3, as Dugahiti is a well-known location. The site is within walking distance from the bus stop.

Combination of Bus and Taxi
Alternatively, take a bus from Melamchi to Bhaktapur (which costs about NPR 250) and then hire a taxi from Bhaktapur to Dugahiti. The taxi ride will take about 30 minutes. When you reach Bhaktapur, you can find taxis at the bus station or ask locals for help. Make sure to negotiate the fare, which could be around NPR 600-800.
