Walking
Start your journey from Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a central location. Head northeast towards the main road, which is called the Bhadgaon - Sankhu road. Walk along this road for approximately 30 minutes until you reach a junction where the road splits. Take the left fork towards Sankhu. Continue on this road for another 15-20 minutes, enjoying the local scenery. You will eventually enter the outskirts of Sankhu. Look for signs that direct you towards Chalakhu. Once you see the sign for Chalakhu, turn right and follow the path leading you into the village. The final destination is approximately a 10-minute walk from this turn.

Rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Start your ride heading northeast towards the Bhadgaon - Sankhu road. Cycle along this road for about 30 minutes until you reach a junction. At the junction, take the left fork towards Sankhu. Continue cycling for another 15-20 minutes. As you enter the outskirts of Sankhu, keep an eye out for signs indicating Chalakhu. Once you see the Chalakhu sign, turn right and follow the path into the village. The destination will be about a 10-minute ride from this point.

From Bhaktapur Durbar Square, walk to the nearest bus station, which is located just a few minutes away. Look for a local bus heading to Sankhu. Board the bus and enjoy a ride for about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Sankhu, ask the conductor or locals for directions to Chalakhu. It is a short 10-15 minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs or ask for directions as you walk towards Chalakhu.
