Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Thamel, head east on Paknajol Marg towards the Kumari Ghar (Kumari's Palace). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Durbar Marg. Turn left onto Durbar Marg. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the big intersection at New Road. Cross the road carefully and continue straight onto Indra Chowk. From Indra Chowk, take a right onto Bhaktapur Road (also known as Bansbari Road). Continue walking straight for approximately 20 minutes. You will pass the historic areas of Kathmandu. As you approach Chandol, keep an eye out for P8GQ+M32; the Banshidhar Krishna Temple will be nearby on your right.

Walking
If you are near the Kathmandu Durbar Square, walk towards the eastern exit of the square and head down to the Bhaktapur Road. Continue walking straight for about 15-20 minutes. This route will take you through the vibrant streets of the city, allowing you to experience local shops and eateries. After reaching the Chandol area, look for P8GQ+M32. The temple is located near this area, and you should be able to spot it easily.

Local Transport (Bus or Microbus)
From anywhere in Kathmandu, you can take a local bus or microbus heading towards Bhaktapur. Ask the conductor to drop you off at Chandol. Once you get off, walk towards P8GQ+M32, and the Banshidhar Krishna Temple will be a short walk from there. Make sure to check the bus's route beforehand, as some buses may have different stops.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Thamel and head east towards the Kathmandu Durbar Square. Continue along the same route described for walking. Cycle along Bhaktapur Road towards Chandol, where you will find P8GQ+M32. The temple is close to this location, and you can easily park your bicycle nearby.
