Getting There

    Start from Thamel, a popular tourist area in Kathmandu. Head east on the main street, and take a left onto Tridevi Marg. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Ajimi Marg. Turn right onto Ajimi Marg and continue walking until you reach the end of the street. Here, turn left onto 'Unnamed Road'. Continue straight for about 15 minutes, keeping an eye out for local signs and asking for directions to White Gompa, which is a Buddhist temple located on this road. The route may have some ups and downs, so wear comfortable shoes.

    From Thamel, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is usually along the main road. Take a local bus heading towards Samakhushi.
