Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Thamel area, head northwest towards the Tridevi Marg. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with the Swayambhu Marg road. Turn right onto Swayambhu Marg. Continue walking for about 15-20 minutes. You will see the signs directing you towards the Hare Krishna Temple. The temple is located on the left side of the road.

  • Walking

    From Kathmandu Durbar Square, exit the square and head west towards the Indra Chowk area. Continue straight until you reach the Ratna Park. From Ratna Park, you can either take a short taxi ride to Swayambhu Marg or continue walking. If walking, head towards the Swayambhu Stupa. Once you reach the Swayambhu Stupa, the Hare Krishna Temple will be nearby, on Swayambhu Marg.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    From any location in Kathmandu, take a local bus heading towards Swayambhu. The bus will take you close to the Swayambhu Stupa. Once you get off, walk towards Swayambhu Marg, and the Hare Krishna Temple will be within a few minutes walk from there.

  • Walking

    If you are near the Boudhanath Stupa, you can take a local bus to Swayambhu. After arriving, walk along Swayambhu Marg. The Hare Krishna Temple is located along this road, and you should see it on your left as you approach the area.
