Follow the signs to the Boudhanath Stupa and take the road leading out of the city toward Bhaktapur. After about 7 kilometers, you will reach the outskirts of Madhyapur Thimi. Look for signs directing you to Thimi Pottery Square. It's a short walk from the main road, just follow the local pathways to the square.

From Thamel, walk to the nearest microbus station, typically located near the Ratna Park area. Take a microbus heading towards Bhaktapur. The fare will be inexpensive.
