Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Thamel, head east on Tridevi Marg. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Durbar Marg. Turn left onto Durbar Marg and walk until you reach the Ratna Park area. From there, you can head towards the main road, where you will find the public bus station. Look for a bus heading towards Sinamangal. Once you board the bus, notify the driver to stop at the Ring Road. After disembarking, walk towards M9X3+CWM, as Children Peace Park is located right along Ring Road. The park is situated on your left side.

    If you are starting from Kathmandu Durbar Square, exit the square and head towards the eastern exit. Walk along Bhaktapur Durbar Road until you reach the main road, then turn left onto the Ring Road. Continue walking along the Ring Road for about 15-20 minutes. You will notice the Children Peace Park on your right side, adjacent to the road.

    From Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), descend the hill and head towards the main road. Catch a local bus or microbus heading to Thamel. Once you arrive in Thamel, follow the previous walking directions to reach the park. Alternatively, you can walk from Thamel directly, following the route outlined above.

    From Ratnapark, take a microbus or local bus heading towards Sinamangal. Ask the conductor to inform you when you reach the Ring Road near M9X3+CWM. After getting off, walk for about 5 minutes; the Children Peace Park will be on your left.
