Getting There

Walking
If you are in Thamel, head towards the western side of the area and locate the main road, Tridevi Marg. Walk down this road for about 1 km until you reach the intersection near the Kathmandu Durbar Square. From there, continue straight onto Bhaktapur Road. After walking for about 1.5 km, keep an eye out for the Airport Road on your left. Turn left onto Airport Road and walk straight for another 1 km. You will see a sign for Airport Nagar Children’s Park on your right; the park entrance is just a short walk from the road.

Public Bus
From Thamel, walk to the nearest bus station on Kantipath, which is about 15 minutes away on foot. Catch a bus heading towards the airport. Inform the driver you want to get off at the Airport Nagar stop, which is approximately 30 minutes away. After disembarking, walk straight for about 200 meters, and you will find Airport Nagar Children’s Park on your left.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Thamel and head towards the airport. Follow the route along the Bagmati River, and then turn onto Airport Road. This route is approximately 5 km long. After about 15 minutes of cycling, you will reach Airport Nagar Children’s Park, which will be on your right.

Rickshaw
From Thamel, you can hire a rickshaw. Tell the driver to take you to Airport Nagar Children’s Park. The ride will take around 20 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will navigate through the main roads and drop you right at the park entrance.
