Walking
If you are in the central area of Kathmandu, head towards the Ratna Park bus station. From there, take a microbus or local bus heading to Kirtipur. When you reach Kirtipur, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Chithu Marg. From the bus stop, walk straight down the road, and you will see the Bagh Bhairab Temple on your right. It's a short 10-minute walk.
Public Bus
Start at Thamel, a popular tourist area. Walk to the nearest bus stop on the main road. Look for a bus heading to Kirtipur, which will be marked. It will take about 30 minutes to reach Kirtipur. Once you arrive, get off at the 'Kirtipur' main bus stop. From there, walk down the main road and take the first right onto Chithu Marg. The Bagh Bhairab Temple will be a short walk down that road.
Cycle Rickshaw
From Thamel, you can hire a cycle rickshaw to take you directly to the Bagh Bhairab Temple in Kirtipur. Agree on a price before starting your journey. The rickshaw will navigate through the streets of Kathmandu to Kirtipur, which should take around 40 minutes. Once you are close to the temple, the driver can drop you off on Chithu Marg, just a short walk from the temple entrance.
