Hiking
From Namche Bazaar, start your journey by heading towards the main trail leading out of the village. Look for the signs indicating the route to Lukla. The trail is well-marked and generally follows the contours of the hills. As you walk, enjoy the stunning views of the mountains surrounding you. After approximately 30 minutes of hiking, you will come to a junction where you need to take the fork to the left, which leads downhill. Continue along this path, which will take you further away from Namche. After another hour of walking, you will reach the village of Khumjung. From Khumjung, follow the signs towards Chaurikharka, which is about a 1.5 to 2-hour hike. The trail will lead you through beautiful forests and past terraced fields. Keep an eye out for the local wildlife and enjoy the scenery. Once you reach Chaurikharka, continue on the path for another 30 minutes until you arrive at Chhermading Village. The entire hike should take around 3 to 4 hours, depending on your pace.
