Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from Patan Durbar Square, a central location. Head southeast on Mangal Bazaar towards the main road (Pulchowk). Continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach the junction with the road leading to Kirtipur. Cross the road and follow the signs towards Kirtipur. Once you pass the bridge over the river, keep walking straight for another 1.5 kilometers, where you'll find the entrance to Taudaha. The pond is located in the Chobhar area of Kirtipur, just off the main road. Look for local signage directing you towards Taudaha.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    From Patan, walk to the nearest bus stop on Pulchowk Road. Take a local bus heading towards Kirtipur (many will have 'Kirtipur' displayed). The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Chobhar stop. From there, it’s a short walk (about 10-15 minutes) to Taudaha. You can ask locals for directions to the pond, as it is a popular spot.
