If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Kathmandu city center. Head southwest on the Ring Road towards Kirtipur. After approximately 7 km, take the exit toward Chobhar. Continue driving for about 1 km until you reach the intersection near the Chobhar village. From here, follow the signs towards Jalbinayak Trail. The Barahi Cave is located on this trail, and you can park nearby before starting your hike. Note that parking may cost around NPR 50-100.

For those using public transportation, you can catch a microbus or a local bus from the Ratna Park area in Kathmandu heading towards Kirtipur. The fare will typically cost around NPR 30-50. Get off at the Kirtipur bus park. From the bus park, you can either walk (about 30 minutes) or take a local taxi to reach Jalbinayak Trail. If walking, head southwest through the narrow streets of Kirtipur, and follow the signs to Jalbinayak. Once you reach the trailhead, begin your hike towards Barahi Cave.

If you prefer a mix of transportation, drive to the Kirtipur area, park your vehicle near the Chobhar area, and hike the remaining distance. The hike from the parking spot to Barahi Cave takes about 30-45 minutes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water for the hike. Parking should cost around NPR 50-100.
