If you are in the central area of Amsterdam, make your way to the Dam Square. From Dam Square, head towards Rokin street and walk south. Continue walking until you reach the Muntplein, where the famous Munttoren (Mint Tower) is located. From Muntplein, take the first left onto the Reguliersbreestraat. Walk straight until you reach the Amstel River. Cross the bridge and continue onto the Amstel. Once you reach the intersection with the Singel canal, turn right and walk along the canal.
