    Start at the Amersfoort train station. Exit the station and head southeast on Stationsplein towards Breestraat. Continue straight onto Breestraat until you reach the intersection with Langestraat. Turn left onto Langestraat and walk towards the city center. After about 500 meters, you'll arrive at the square called 'Hof'. From there, continue straight onto the 'Kromme Newweg'. Follow this road as it curves slightly to the left and becomes 'Molenstraat'. After about 200 meters, you'll see the iconic canals of Amersfoort. Keep walking until you reach the 'Herengracht', a picturesque canal in Amsterdam. Note: Please ensure you are in Amsterdam as this guidance is specific to reaching a canal there.

    From Amersfoort, take a train from Amersfoort Centraal Station to Amsterdam Centraal Station. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal Station, exit the station and head towards the main square. From there, you can either walk or take a tram. To walk, head southwest on Stationsplein and continue straight onto Damrak. Follow Damrak until you reach the intersection with Herengracht. To take a tram, catch tram line 1 or 2 from the station and get off at the 'Rembrandtplein' stop. From there, it is a short walk to Herengracht.
