Walking
From the Amersfoort train station, exit the station and head southwest on Stationsplein. Continue straight onto Stadsring. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the historic city center. Once you arrive at the city center, follow the signs towards 'Kromme Eem'. You can then cross the bridge over the Kromme Eem, which leads you to the canals. Enjoy the beautiful views of the canals and walk along them to take in the atmosphere.

At the Amersfoort train station, board bus line 3 towards 'Bovenhaven'. Stay on the bus for about 5 stops (approximately 15 minutes). Get off at the 'Centrum' stop. From there, walk towards the canals by following the signs for 'Kromme Eem'. Once you reach the canals, you will be surrounded by picturesque views and can explore the area.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops near Amersfoort train station. Head southeast on Stationsplein and then turn right onto Stadsring. Cycle straight until you reach the city center. Continue to follow the signs for 'Kromme Eem'. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, and once you reach the canals, you can park your bike and enjoy the scenery.
