Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from the Zaanse Schans parking area. Exit the parking lot and head southeast on Zaanse Schans towards the N516. Merge onto the N516 and follow it for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the A8 motorway. Take the A8 towards Amsterdam. After about 10 kilometers, take exit 3 for S100 toward Amsterdam-Centrum. Continue on S100 and follow signs for the city center. After approximately 3 kilometers, turn right onto Herengracht. Huis Vasari will be on your right at Herengracht 366. Note that parking in Amsterdam may incur costs, so be prepared to pay for parking.

    From Zaanse Schans, walk to the Zaanse Schans bus stop. Take bus line 391 towards Amsterdam, which will take you directly to Amsterdam Central Station. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and walk towards the tram stop for tram line 1. Take tram line 1 towards Centraal Station and get off at the 'Keizersgracht' stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Huis Vasari.
