Walking
From the center of Haarlem, head towards the Haarlem Train Station (Haarlem CS). When you reach the station, take the train towards Alkmaar. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Alkmaar Station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located outside. Take bus line 3 towards 'Klein Zwitserland'. Get off at the stop 'Frieseweg'. From the bus stop, walk about 10 minutes along Frieseweg, and 't Roode Hert will be on your left at Frieseweg 102.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Haarlem. Start by heading north towards the Spaarne River. Follow the river until you reach the junction with the N208 road. Turn left onto N208 and follow the signs to Alkmaar. The cycling distance is approximately 10 kilometers and will take around 40 minutes. Once you reach Alkmaar, find your way to Frieseweg and continue cycling until you reach Frieseweg 102, where 't Roode Hert is located.

Public Transport
From your location in Haarlem, take bus line 50 from the nearest bus stop to your accommodation. This bus travels directly to Alkmaar. After about 30 minutes, disembark at the 'Alkmaar Station' stop. From there, take bus line 3 towards 'Klein Zwitserland' and get off at 'Frieseweg'. Walk for approximately 10 minutes to reach 't Roode Hert located at Frieseweg 102.
