Walking
From the Zaanse Schans visitor center, head south towards the main road. Follow the signs towards Zaandijk and cross the bridge over the Zaan river. Continue walking straight until you reach the train station Zaandijk Zaanse Schans. The total walking distance is approximately 1 km and should take about 15 minutes.

Once at the Zaandijk Zaanse Schans train station, take a train towards Amsterdam Central Station. This train runs frequently, and the journey will take about 17 minutes. Be sure to check the train schedule beforehand. You do not need to purchase a separate ticket if you have a valid public transport card.

After arriving at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head southwest towards the Keizersgracht. Walk along the canal until you reach Keizersgracht 321. It will take approximately 20 minutes to walk to Roode Huys from the station, which is located in the heart of Amsterdam.
