Start at the Carson City Bus Terminal at 1 N Carson St. Take the Route 20 bus towards Virginia City. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Virginia City stop, walk east on E Main St until you reach F St. Turn left on F St, and the railroad company will be on your left.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Carson City. Start from the downtown area, heading east on E Robinson St. Continue onto E 5th St, which will turn into NV-341. Follow the road northbound for about 15 miles, enjoying the scenic views. As you approach Virginia City, turn left onto F St. The Virginia & Truckee Railroad Company will be located at 166 F St on your right side.
