Getting There

    To reach Pastel (Pink) Canyon Trail via car, start from the main entrance of Lake Mead National Recreation Area located at 10 Lakeshore Rd, Boulder City, NV 89005. Follow Lakeshore Rd until you reach the junction with NV-167 N. Turn left onto NV-167 N and continue for approximately 12 miles until you reach the intersection with Mouse's Tank Rd. Turn right onto Mouse's Tank Rd and follow the road for about 5 miles. Look for the trailhead parking area on your left. Note that there may be an entrance fee for the recreation area, which is typically around $25 per vehicle.

    If you're using public transportation, take a bus to the nearest town, Overton, NV. From Las Vegas, you can take the Greyhound bus to Mesquite, and then arrange for a taxi or rideshare to take you to Overton. Once in Overton, you will need to rent a car or arrange for a taxi/rideshare to reach Pastel (Pink) Canyon Trail. From Overton, head south on NV-169, then turn onto Mouse's Tank Rd. Follow Mouse's Tank Rd for about 5 miles to the trailhead. Be aware that public transport options may not be frequent, so plan your trip accordingly.
