Car
From Valley of Fire State Park, start at the East Entrance. Take NV-169 S for approximately 10 miles until you reach I-15 S. Merge onto I-15 S and continue for about 15 miles. Take exit 33 for US-93 S towards Boulder City. Continue on US-93 S for about 10 miles, then take exit 2 for Lakeshore Road. Follow Lakeshore Road for about 2 miles until you reach Lake Mead National Recreation Area at 10 Lakeshore Rd, Boulder City, NV 89005. The total travel time is approximately 45 minutes.

Public transportation options are limited. However, you can take a bus from Las Vegas to Boulder City. Start by taking the RTC Bus 202 from the nearest stop to Valley of Fire State Park to the Las Vegas Strip. Transfer to the 210 bus towards Boulder City. Once in Boulder City, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Lake Mead National Recreation Area, as it is about 5 miles away from the bus stop.
