From Exeter, head to the nearest bus stop at the Exeter Town Hall on Front Street. Take the C&J Bus Lines route to York, Maine. Make sure to check the schedule for the next available bus to York. Once you arrive in York, get off at the York Village stop. From there, walk down York Street until you reach Lindsay Road, then turn left. Continue walking until you see the Old York Historical Society at 3 Lindsay Rd, which will be on your right.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Exeter. Start your journey by heading southeast on Front Street towards Epping Road (Route 27). Follow Epping Road until you reach Route 1, where you will then head south. Continue on Route 1 until you reach the intersection with Lindsay Road. Turn left onto Lindsay Road, and the Old York Historical Society will be on your left at 3 Lindsay Rd.

To walk from downtown Exeter, start at the Exeter Town Hall. Head south on Front Street, then turn left onto Water Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Cross over and take a right onto Route 1 heading south. Walk along Route 1 until you reach the intersection with Lindsay Road. Turn left onto Lindsay Road, and the Old York Historical Society will be located at 3 Lindsay Rd on your left.
