If you are in the center of Asbury Park, start by heading towards the boardwalk. Once you reach the boardwalk, walk north along it until you reach the intersection with Ocean Avenue. Turn left onto Ocean Avenue and continue walking until you reach the intersection with 8th Avenue. At 8th Avenue, turn right and walk until you reach the intersection with Shore Road. Turn left onto Shore Road and continue until you reach 9620 Shore Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11209. The park will be on your right.

From the Asbury Park Train Station, take the NJ Transit bus towards Brooklyn. Board the bus and inform the driver of your destination, which is 9620 Shore Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11209. The bus will take you directly to the Fort Hamilton area. Once you disembark, follow Shore Road north until you reach the entrance of Shore Road Park.

If you are renting a bike in Asbury Park, head towards the boardwalk and ride north along the beachfront path. After approximately 2.5 miles, you will reach the intersection of Ocean Avenue and 8th Avenue. Turn right onto 8th Avenue and continue until it intersects with Shore Road.
