From Asbury Park, head to the NJ Transit bus stop at the corner of Main St and Mattison Ave. Take the NJ Transit bus #833 towards Staten Island. The journey will take about an hour. Make sure to inform the bus driver you are heading to Staten Island. Once you arrive at Staten Island, you can transfer to the local bus service or a taxi to reach the Staten Island September 11th Memorial located at Bank St.

Train and Ferry
Start by walking to the nearest NJ Transit train station in Asbury Park. Take a North Jersey Coast Line train towards New York Penn Station. Once at Penn Station, transfer to the Staten Island Ferry at Whitehall Terminal. The ferry will take you to Staten Island. After disembarking, you can take a local bus or a taxi to Bank St to reach the Staten Island September 11th Memorial.
