    If you are driving, start by getting onto the nearest major highway. If you are coming from New Jersey, Route 17 is a convenient option. Head north on Route 17 and follow the signs toward Suffern. As you approach Suffern, take the exit for NY-59 East. Continue on NY-59 until you reach the intersection with NY-306. Turn left onto NY-306 North. After about 1 mile, turn right onto Monsey Glen Road. The park entrance will be on your right. There is no entrance fee for Monsey Glen County Park.

    To reach Monsey Glen County Park via public transportation, take a NJ Transit train to Suffern Station. From Suffern, you can catch a Rockland Coaches bus (Route 14) which heads towards Monsey. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Monsey Glen Park. The bus fare is approximately $3.50, and the bus ride takes about 20 minutes. Once you get off the bus, walk north on Monsey Glen Road for about 10 minutes until you reach the park entrance.
