If you are driving, start from the main entrance of Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Head northeast on River Road (Route 611) and continue for about 8 miles. Turn right onto Route 602, which will lead you into Hardwick Township. Continue on Route 602 for approximately 4 miles until you reach the junction with the Pahaquarry Road. Turn left onto Pahaquarry Road and follow it for about 2 miles until you arrive at the Pahaquarry Copper Mines trailhead, where there is limited parking available.

If you are using public transportation, take a NJ Transit train to the town of Hackettstown, NJ. From Hackettstown, you can catch a local taxi or rideshare service to the Delaware Water Gap area. Once you are in the vicinity of Route 602, you will need to walk approximately 4 miles to reach the Pahaquarry Copper Mines trailhead. Please plan your transportation accordingly, as public transit schedules may vary, and ensure you have a reliable means to return after your hike.
