Getting There

  • Ferry

    From Hoboken, head to the Hoboken Terminal. You can walk to the terminal from most places in Hoboken, which is located at 1 Hudson Place. Once at Hoboken Terminal, purchase a ferry ticket to Manhattan. Board the NY Waterway ferry that goes to the West 39th Street Terminal in Manhattan. The ferry ride will take about 8-10 minutes. After disembarking at the West 39th Street Terminal, make your way to 12th Avenue and head north towards 42nd Street.

  • PATH Train

    From Hoboken, head to the Hoboken PATH station located at 1301 Hudson Street. Take the PATH train towards World Trade Center. Get off at the 33rd Street station in Manhattan. From there, transfer to the A or C subway line at 34th Street-Penn Station and head uptown towards 125th Street. Get off at the 125th Street station, and from there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Riverbank State Park. Head west on 125th Street until you reach Riverside Drive, then turn left and walk south.

  • Bus

    From Hoboken, walk to the nearest bus stop on Washington Street. Take NJ Transit Bus #126 towards New York Port Authority. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Port Authority, walk to the nearby subway station and take the A or C line towards 125th Street. Get off at 125th Street and walk west towards Riverside Drive to reach Riverbank State Park.
