Getting There

  • PATH TRAIN

    From any location in Hoboken, walk to the Hoboken PATH Station located at 1 Hudson Place. Purchase a ticket to the 33rd Street train. Board the train and travel towards New York City. Alight at the 33rd Street station, then transfer to the E subway line towards World Trade Center, and get off at 5th Avenue/53rd Street. From the subway station, walk west on 53rd Street for about 2 blocks until you reach 11 W 53rd St, the Museum of Modern Art.

    If you prefer to take a leisurely walk, head to the Hoboken waterfront. Walk north on Washington Street until you reach the waterfront promenade. Follow the promenade along the Hudson River for beautiful views of Manhattan. Eventually, you will reach the Hoboken Terminal. From there, take the PATH train to 33rd Street and then transfer to the E subway line at the 33rd Street station, as detailed in the previous option.

    You can take NJ Transit Bus #126 from Hoboken to Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. The bus departs from various points in Hoboken. Once at Port Authority, exit and walk east towards 8th Avenue. From there, catch the E subway line at the 42nd Street/Port Authority station towards World Trade Center. Get off at 5th Avenue/53rd Street and walk two blocks west to reach the Museum of Modern Art at 11 W 53rd St.
