Catch the NJ Transit bus number 190 towards New York, which will take you to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. Once you arrive at the terminal, follow the signs to the subway station and take the A, C, or E train downtown to 59th Street - Columbus Circle. From there, transfer to the Q train towards 96th Street and get off at the 86th Street station. Walk east on 86th Street until you reach 5th Avenue, then turn left and walk north until you arrive at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum located at 1071 5th Ave.

    From Paterson, head to the Paterson train station located at 100 Market Street. Take the NJ Transit train on the North Jersey Coast Line towards Hoboken. Get off at Hoboken Terminal and transfer to the PATH train heading towards 33rd Street. Exit at 33rd Street and walk to the 34th Street subway station. Take the C train heading towards 168th Street and transfer at 59th Street - Columbus Circle. From there, take the Q train towards 96th Street and disembark at 86th Street.
