    From Red Bank Station, take the NJ Transit North Jersey Coast Line train towards New York Penn Station. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at New York Penn Station, transfer to the subway.

  • Subway

    At New York Penn Station, follow the signs to the 1, 2, or 3 subway lines. Take the 1 subway line towards South Ferry. Get off at 50th St Station. From there, walk east towards 6th Ave, then turn left and walk north on 6th Ave until you reach West 53rd St. Turn right on West 53rd St, and The Museum of Modern Art will be on your left at 11 W 53rd St.

  • Walking

    If you are already in the vicinity of Midtown Manhattan, you can walk to The Museum of Modern Art. From Times Square, head east on 42nd St towards 6th Ave. Turn right onto 6th Ave and continue walking north until you reach West 53rd St. Turn left onto West 53rd St, and the museum will be on your left.

  • Bus

    From Red Bank, you can also take the NJ Transit bus route 833 to New York City. The bus will take you to the Port Authority Bus Terminal. From there, walk towards 8th Ave, then take the subway or walk to West 53rd St to reach The Museum of Modern Art.
