Car
If you're driving from central South Jersey, take the Garden State Parkway South. After approximately 40 miles, take exit 0 toward Cape May. Continue on Route 109 for about 5 miles until you reach the intersection with Sunset Blvd. Turn left onto Sunset Blvd, and after about 1 mile, you will find Sunset Beach at 502 Sunset Blvd, Cape May, NJ 08204. Parking is available on-site, and it is free.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To get to Sunset Beach via public transportation, you can take the NJ Transit bus #313 from various locations in South Jersey. Make sure to check the schedule as it runs less frequently on weekends. Get off at the Cape May Terminal, then take a local taxi or rideshare service to Sunset Beach, which is about 2 miles away. Expect to pay around $10-$15 for the taxi. Alternatively, if you enjoy walking, it’s a nice 30-minute walk from the terminal to the beach.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, biking is an option. From Cape May, you can take the bike path along Sunset Blvd, which is approximately a 2-mile ride from the center of Cape May. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local biking laws. There are bike racks available at Sunset Beach for secure parking.
