Getting There

  • Public Transit

    From the center of Las Cruces, head to the nearest bus stop on the Mesilla Valley Transit route. Board Route 1 (Downtown) and ride towards the Las Cruces Mall. Get off at the stop closest to the mall. From there, transfer to Route 2 (Eastside) towards the Dripping Springs area. The bus will take you closer to the entry point of Dripping Springs Natural Area. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the most accurate arrival times. The natural area is located approximately 2 miles from the bus stop, so you will need to walk along Dripping Springs Road to reach the entrance.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local shop in Las Cruces. Start your journey from the Plaza de Las Cruces and head east on Main Street. Continue on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Lohman Avenue. Turn left onto Lohman Avenue and follow it until you reach the intersection with Telshor Blvd. Turn right onto Telshor Blvd and continue until you reach Dripping Springs Road. Turn left onto Dripping Springs Road. The entrance to Dripping Springs Natural Area will be located on your right after a few miles. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic regulations.

Turn right onto Dripping Springs Road and continue walking for approximately 2 miles. The entrance to Dripping Springs Natural Area will be on your right.
