From White Sands National Park, head east on US-70 E towards Las Cruces. The drive is approximately 45 miles and should take around 50 minutes. Continue on US-70 E until you reach the exit for I-25 N towards Albuquerque. Merge onto I-25 N and drive for about 10 miles. Take exit 6 for University Ave. Turn left onto University Ave and continue for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Avenida de Mesilla. Turn right onto Avenida de Mesilla and follow the signs for Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument. The entrance is located at the coordinates 32.3257° N, 106.5565° W.
