If you are driving from anywhere in the Rio Grande Valley, take US-54 N towards Alamogordo. Continue on US-54 N for approximately 80 miles. As you approach Alamogordo, take the exit for NM-70 E towards Ruidoso. After about 3.5 miles, take the exit for Dog Canyon Rd. Follow Dog Canyon Rd for about 5 miles until you reach the entrance of Oliver Lee Memorial State Park at 409 Dog Canyon Rd, Alamogordo, NM 88310. There is a parking fee of $5 per vehicle.
