From Valles Caldera National Preserve, head southeast on NM-4 S. Continue on NM-4 for approximately 16 miles. You will pass through the scenic Jemez Mountains. After about 16 miles, look for the signs directing you to Fenton Lake State Park. Turn left onto Fenton Lake Rd, and the park entrance will be on your right after about 1 mile. Please note that there may be an entrance fee for Fenton Lake State Park, so be prepared to pay that upon arrival.
