Walking
From the visitor center at White Sands National Park, head southeast towards the intersection of US-70. Walk along the paved pathway until you reach US-70. Cross US-70 carefully at the designated crosswalk. After crossing, turn left onto the shoulder of US-70 and proceed down the highway for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Dripping Springs Road. Turn right onto Dripping Springs Road. Continue along Dripping Springs Road for about 5 miles. The Dripping Springs Natural Area will be on your left. Look for the entrance sign.

If you are biking, start at the White Sands Visitor Center and head southeast towards US-70. Ride along the road shoulder of US-70 for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn right onto Dripping Springs Road. Follow Dripping Springs Road for about 5 miles, and you will see the entrance to Dripping Springs Natural Area on your left. Make sure to adhere to local biking regulations and be cautious of traffic.
