Assuming you are located in North Buffalo, start by heading south towards Hertel Avenue. Walk along Hertel Avenue until you reach the bus stop for the NFTA Metro Bus Route 5 on Hertel Ave & Elmwood Ave. Board the bus heading towards Downtown Buffalo. The fare is $2.00, and you can pay with cash or a Metro pass. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at Main St & Chippewa St. This should take approximately 25 minutes.

Once you disembark at Main St & Chippewa St, head west towards Main Street. Continue walking on Main Street until you reach the intersection with W. Huron St. Turn left onto W. Huron St. Walk straight until you reach the area near the Canalside where Shark Girl is located. The total walking distance from the bus stop to Shark Girl is about 0.5 miles, which should take around 10 minutes.
