If you're in University Heights, start by heading southwest on Main Street towards Bailey Avenue. Continue on Main Street until you reach the intersection with the Metro Rail. From there, you can catch the Metro Rail at the University Station. Take the Metro Rail towards the Erie Canal Harbor Station. After approximately 10 stops, get off at the Lafayette Avenue Station. Exit the station and walk east on Lafayette Avenue until you reach Pearl Street. Turn right onto Pearl Street and walk two blocks until you arrive at 140 Pearl Street, where the Guaranty Building & Interpretive Center is located.

From University Heights, take the NFTA Metro Bus Route 34 from Main Street and Bailey Avenue. Board the bus heading towards the downtown area. Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic, and get off at the stop near Pearl Street.
