Getting There

Walking
Start at the center of Collegetown, on the intersection of College Avenue and Dryden Road. Head south on College Avenue toward the traffic circle. Once you reach the circle, take the first exit onto Lake Street. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles. You will pass by residential areas and a few businesses. As you approach the Ithaca Falls Natural Area, keep an eye out for the signs that indicate the entrance to the falls. The entrance is located just off Lake Street. The total walking distance is approximately 1 mile, which should take about 20-25 minutes.

From Collegetown, you can take the TCAT bus service. Head to the nearest bus stop on College Avenue. Take the TCAT bus route 11 or 14 heading towards the city. You will want to get off at the stop at Lake Street (this is usually the second or third stop depending on traffic). Once you get off the bus, the Ithaca Falls Natural Area is a short walk down Lake Street, about a 10-minute walk. Make sure to check the TCAT schedule for the latest updates on bus timings. The fare for the bus is $1.50 per ride, and you can purchase a ticket at the bus stop or pay with exact change on the bus.
